The shoreline features a large open area for field use, play, and family picnics with wooded trails on either side leading to shady nooks and added swimming areas. The YMCA does uses a portion of the Park to the left of the field for its Summer Camp programs, generally between the hours of 9am – 5pm on Weekdays, Mon – Fri.
