Every contribution to our annual We Build People Campaign, no matter the size, helps us provide program support and financial assistance to needy families in our area. By partnering with the YMCA, your contribution goes far above simply impacting the bottom line. Your support truly makes a difference in the lives of people throughout our community. Each year we provide over $75,000 in financial assistance to children and families that otherwise could not afford access to life changing programs at the YMCA. But, there are many more stories that have gone untold. Your contribution will enable us to build a stronger community one family, one person and one story at a time.
$1,300 enables a child to learn new talents and develop positive friendships at Summer Camp
$636 provides a family membership to the YMCA for a full year and access to family friendly programs
$300 helps a young adult experience a sense of belonging as a member of the YMCA for a year
$70 enables a child to participate in before and after school activities for a week
$23 allows a child to build self-confidence while taking swimming lessons at the YMCA

The goal for our campaign this year is $50,000

James Colville Society
Among the annual donors who support the YMCA through the We Build People Campaign is a special, deeply dedicated group. These are the members of the James Colville Society. With an annual gift of $1,000 or more, you will receive an invitation to and special recognition at the Sanford-Springvale YMCA annual meeting. More importantly, as a member, you’ll feel a quiet pride in the difference you make. By joining the James Colville Society, you make a powerful lasting statement about the value of the YMCA in people’s lives and you inspire others to give more generously themselves.
