Youth Programs

YMCA Youth programs promote the positive development of young people through activities and experiences that address the developmental assets that all youth need to obtain: social, emotional, physical, and cognitive competencies.  Whether in youth sports or one of the many other programs, the YMCA is here to provide an environment where area youth can feel safe, have fun and build trusting relationships.
Leaders Club
The Leaders Club is a national YMCA initiative that provides area youth with opportunities for leadership training, personal growth, service to others, and social development.  By connecting with adult advisors, teens have role models and mentors who can have a positive impact on their lives.  Teens from area High Schools meet on a weekly basis in small groups, working closely with their peers and a counselor on skills development and character-building activities, as well as on planning and organizing club projects.  The Leaders Club offers a safe haven for young people to become confident and competent adults with a sense of belonging in their community.  This program will begin in September.  You do not have to be a YMCA member to participate and there is no program fee.  For more information contact Justin Parker at 324-4942 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
