Our pool at the YMCA provide a low to 0% impact setting for exercise. This environment is great for everything from athletic training to arthritis relief. Water naturally offers resistance that improves balance and is key to strengthening your core muscles. We have classes for every level of fitness. Find the class that is right for you!

Aqua Fitness (Ages 16+)
This course combines movement, water and music with the use of buoyancy and water resistance to provide a low-impact workout that is fun and effective. Aqua Fitness aims to improve all components of fitness and is suitable for all fitness levels. Through the use of intervals, circuit training and strength activities, these classes can be as intense as an individual wants. Swimming skills are not necessary.

Hydro Fit (Ages 16+)
This class incorporates all of the components of the other aqua fitness classes in a more progressive fashion. Participants can work on non-impact, low-impact or higher-impact surfaces as desired. The supportive environment provides a great exercise program for seniors, pregnant women, overweight and inactive individuals as well as people recovering from injury.
