Health and Fitness programs are centered on offering a positive and enriching environment where participants can develop self-confidence, meet new friends and build a strong and healthy mind, body and spirit. Participants must register for each program and are open to members and non-members aged 16 and over.

YouFirst
12 weeks to a healthier you! This program is designed to help healthseekers move toward the behavior and mindset of a healthier lifestyle. Setting personal goals and creating a formal action plan empowers individuals to make changes in their lives. The program consists pre- and post-body composition analysis and three, one-on-one appointments with a personal fitness instructor and two appointments with a nutritionist.

Flow Yoga
Instructor: Betsy Baker
Use breathing and various yoga poses to release tension, build strength and stretch muscles. Open to all levels and students are encouraged to work to their “edge”. Classes end with a deep relaxation period, leaving you energized and refreshed.

Hatha Yoga 
Instructor: Betsy Baker
Proper alignment brings strength, flexibility, balance, increased energy and quality of breath. Self-acceptance and care are encouraged in this non-competitive class. This class is for teens and adults.

Iyngar Yoga
Instructor: Laura Beauchesne PT
Participants will learn to pay attention to their body alignment in order to break old postural habits which may cause pain or discomfort. Yoga will leave you invigorated and relaxed.

Y-Nutrition
Instructor: Jody Vlodel-Berren, Registered Dietician
A One-hour consultation to assess your unique nutritional needs with a registered dietician.  From this assessment, a personalized nutrition plan is developed to help maximize your efforts to reach your goals.  A One-hour follow-up consultation helps fine-tune the goals set at the initial consult and resolve issues and concerns encountered.  It also offers an opportunity to reassess your nutritional needs and learn how to implement healthier eating habits. Stott Pilates™ 
Instructor: Merilee Perkins
By working from the inside out, building upon core abdominal and back strength, Pilates will help you develop strength, flexibility, endurance and posture, without building bulk or stressing your joints. 
Int/Advanced: Monday; 5:15-6:15pm
Beg/Intermediate:  Monday, 6:30-7:30pm
Intermediate: Tuesday; 10:15-11:15pm

Spinning®
Spinning®, one of our more popular group classes, offers an incredible cardiovascular workout that is both challenging and fun at the same time. Participants are able to exercise at their own fitness level and won’t realize they are working so hard.
FEE: FREE for Members, Non-members $10 per class

Tae Kwon Do (Ages 12+)
Instructor: Rufilo Lawrance, 3nd degree black belt
In addition to fitness and martial arts skill building, it also teaches discipline, self control, respect and integrity.
Beginner: Thursday: 6:30-7:30pm
Advanced: Thursday: 7:30-8:30pm

Adult Co-ed Dodgeball
Organizer: Matt Ouellette
Join us at the Nasson Community Center each week for adult co-ed dodgeball. For more information and to register, contact the Y Welcome Center at 324-4942.
Fee: $10.00/player or $125/team
Drop-ins are welcome!

Adult Kung Fu
Instructor: Si Fu Craig Taylor, 2nd degree black belt
Learn personal discipline and develop confidence through fluid movements and traditional exercises. Kung Fu is about respect, team-building and physical and mental self-improvement.

Friday: 7:30-8:30pm

Tai Chi
Instructor: Si Fu Craig Taylor, 2nd degree black belt
Tai Chi reduces stress, improves balance and coordination, increases flexibility, motion and strength, enhances body awareness and promotes mental well-being.
