The following programs are offered as a service to our members to help them achieve their overall health and fitness goals.

Member orientations
As a member, our fitness staff will meet with you individually and teach you how to use the cardio and weight equipment. During your appointment, our staff teaches you how to adjust the equipment, fits you to each machine, and works with you to find an appropriate starting weight to work with.  We record everything on a fitness card that is kept on file for you in the gym.  This service is included in your membership and is mandatory for children between the ages of 12-15.

Body composition analysis
This analysis will provide you with a point of reference for comparison with future progress and allow you to develop the best fitness program for your individual needs.  To schedule your analysis, contact Merilee Perkins at 324-4942.
Fee: Members: FREE    Non-member: $5

Physical Fitness Testing
Fitness assessments will help you evaluate your current fitness level, identify training needs, select training regimens, and evaluate the success of your program in achieving its objectives.  The physical fitness portion of the test will assess your body composition, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance.  This service is available to members only and an appointment is required. To schedule an appointment, contact Merilee Perkins at 324-4942.

Note: You must be 18 years of age or older

Personal Training
Work with a certified personal trainer to maximize your fitness potential. One-on-one personal training gives you the education, motivation and confidence to execute a program designed for you. Sessions: 1 Hr.
Individual Fee:
1  session: $40 
6  sessions: $210
8  sessions: $270
10 sessions: $330

Partner training fee:
1  session: $60  
6  sessions: $330
8  sessions: $415
10 sessions: $500

Y-Nutrition
Jody Vlodek-Berren, Registered Dietician
Work with a registered dietician to create a personalized nutrition plan that will help maximize your efforts to reach your goals. a 1-hour follow-up consultation helps finetune the goals set at the intial consult and resolve issues and concerns encountered. Adult Triathlon Training Club
A great opportunity to start a training program and learn from seasoned triathletes and/or to join the camaraderie of training with others.

Iyngar Yoga
Laura Beauchesne, PT
Participants will learn to pay attention to their body alignment to break old postural habits that may cause pain or discomfort. Yoga will be sure to invigorate and relax.

Hatha Yoga
Betsy Baker
Proper alignment brings strength, flexibility, balance, increased energy and quality of breath. Self-acceptance and care are encouraged in this non-competitive class. This class is for teens and adults.
Tuesday 5:45 - 7:00pm

Flow Yoga
Betsy Baker
Use breathing and various yoga poses to release tension, build strength and stretch muscles. Open to all levels. Students are encouraged to walk to their "edge." Classes end with a deep relaxation period, leaving you energized and refreshed.

Stott Pilates

By working from the inside out, building upon core abdominal and back strength, Pilates will help you develp core strength and flexibility, increase muscle endurance and improve posture.

MARTIAL ARTS
Tae Kwon Do
Rufilo Lawrance, 3nd degree black belt
In addition to fitness and martial arts skill building, this class teaches discipline, self control, respect and integrity.
Thursday  6:30 - 7:30pm  Beginner  (Ages 12+)        Thursday  7:30 - 8:30pm   Advanced  (Ages 12+)

Adult Kung Fu
Si Fu Craig Taylor, 2nd degree black belt
Learn personal discipline and develop confidence through fluid movements and traditional exercises. Kung Fu is about respect, team-building and physical and mental self-improvement.

Friday      7:30 - 8:30pm

Tai Chi

Tai Chi reduces stress; improves balance, coordination, and body awareness; increases flexibility, motionand strength; and promotes mental well-being.
