Member orientations
As a member, our fitness staff will meet with you individually and teach you how to use the cardio and weight equipment. During your appointment, our staff teaches you how to adjust the equipment, fits you to each machine, and works with you to find an appropriate starting weight to work with. We record everything on a fitness card that is kept on file for you in the gym. This service is included in your membership and is mandatory for children between the ages of 12-15.

Body composition analysis
This analysis will provide you with a point of reference for comparison with future progress and allow you to develop the best fitness program for your individual needs. To schedule your analysis, contact Merilee Perkins at 324-4942.

Physical Fitness Testing
Fitness assessments will help you evaluate your current fitness level, identify training needs, select training regimens, and evaluate the success of your program in achieving its objectives. The physical fitness portion of the test will assess your body composition, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. This service is available to members only and an appointment is required. To schedule an appointment, contact Merilee Perkins at 324-4942.

Healthy Living (Ages 18+)

Set goals, create a formal, personal action plan toward becoming physically, mentally and emotionally healthier. Participate in class activities and discussions on coping with stress, emotional eating, disease prevention, maintaining a positive attitude and ways to live a more balanced life. The program includes weekly classroom sessions and guest speakers.

Women on Weights

This is a 60 minute group personal training approach to working out with a variety of weight/resistance training equipment (barbell, body bards, resistance tubing, and dumbbells). Learn how to compliment your weight workouts, health tips, postural training, flexibility advice and more.

Rubber Stamp Art (16+)
Roxie Wright
Use decorative rubber stamps, designer papers, ribbons and accessories to create hand-stamped cards for all of your special occasions. No prior stamping experience necessary. All materials provided.

Stress & Coping

Overwhelmed? Stressed? Anxious? Learn to reduce tension with breathing techniques, acupressure, meditation exercises, hand yoga positions, reflexology, sound therapy, guided imagery, stretches and more. This class is open to teens and adults.
